Privacy Policy

We never try to identify users of our website apart from as part of an enquiry or ordering process. Any data that identifies a user is used only for our internal administration and is never disclosed to any third party for any purpose. 

We only ever use cookies to retain information that (a) assists a user's navigation of the site that is then in progress, (b) provides extra help to a user visiting the site for the first or (c), at the request of the user, consists of certain passwords, delivery or other ordering information to assist on a future visit. We do not use cookies or similar devices to retain permanent information on users.

We log http requests to our server. This means that we know the originating IP address of any website user that requests a URL and the referer and user-agent information that goes with such an http request. We do not retain the specific identity of users of our website, unless an online transaction is undertaken. Where an online transaction does take place we need to retain full details. We may occasionally scrutinise the log files to determine which files are most requested and the recent site or user agent which prompted the request.

Any information that is logged is kept indefinitely for internal administrative and research purposes only. We may compile statistics (that contain no identifying data whatsoever) for research or business management purposes from these information logs of information.
