This is a wonderful selection of work from one of my favourite artists featuring the nation’s capital, from his early student days almost up to his death. His style is fabulously timeless or maybe it’s just that the fifties look has come so firmly back in vogue and he had such a hand in shaping that look. Whether in his advertising work or his illustrations, London looks wonderful and I wish that I had been around to enjoy his work at the Festival of Britain.
