Mr B's Christmas Catalogue Review
Novelist Sarah Moss recounts a year spent living and working in Iceland. The book begins with much self-effacing honesty as Moss describes the awkwardness of everyday life as an uninitiated expat in a very foreign country. Soon though the account becomes an altogether more appreciative description of the country - with its remarkable natural landscape, stunning wildlife and spectacularly multi-coloured night skies - and its enigmatic, determined and distinctive inhabitants.
